The Institute’s Board of Governors

The Board of Governors of the AJIPT comprises of the Moderator and his council, the Director, the Rector(s) of the Seminary/Seminaries, Head of Departments, Local Ordinaries and Major Superiors of Congregations having significant numbers in the AJIPT, and Representatives of teachers.
The responsibilities of the Institute’s Board of Governors are:


  1. To act upon the Moderator’s request regarding the nomination of the Director proposed by the
    Council of the Institute.
  2. To collaborate with the Director in guiding AJIPT in matters concerning program of studies, identification of eligible teachers, and cases of admission and dismissal of students;
  3. To review the progress of the Institute and advice the Director in matters of policy. The Director refers certain matters to this board for consultation and advice from time to time, including formal student requests.
