Duties of Teachers

The following duties pertain to both permanent and non-permanent teachers.

      1. To help the Director in ensuring the success of the academic design in responsibilities that have to be particularly stipulated;
      2. To cooperate in teaching and research;
      3. To participate in the continual renewal of the programmes based on changing needs of the society;
      4. To participate in the continual renewal of the programmes based on changing needs of the society.
      5. Permanent teachers are entrusted with core courses in the institute;
      6. None-permanent teachers partake in teaching the remaining courses according their areas of specialization.


Permanent Teachers of Philosophy
AJIPD has five permanent teachers with canonical/ecclesiastic degree, all of whom are priests. Their duty is as follows:
To teach the following core philosophical courses: Metaphysics, Philosophy of nature, philosophical anthropology, Moral and political philosophy, Logic and Philosophy of knowledge. (Cf. Instr. art. 33).

Permanent Teachers of Theology
AJITD has eight permanent teachers with canonical/ecclesiastic degree, all of whom are priests.
To teach the following: Sacred Scriptures, Fundamental and Dognamitc Theology, Liturgy, Moral and Spiritual Theology, Canon Law, Patristic and Church History (Cf. instr. art. 25).

Non-Permanent Teachers of Philosophy
To teach other non-core (basic) philosophical disciplines.

Non-Permanent Teachers of Theology
To teach non-core (basic) theological disciplines.
