Admission and Dismissal of Teachers Admission and Dismissal; Teachers of the AJIPT operate within certain conditions as stipulated in this statutes and other relevant documents of the institute in both soft and hard copies.
The Admission
Teachers must be witnesses of the Christian faith and manifest a sense of responsibility.
Teachers must have the required academic qualifications with at least a minimum of licentiate, preferably ecclesiastical degrees.
Teachers who teach core (basic) disciplines in AJIPT, and matters touching on faith and morals are to be conscious of their duty to carry out their work in full communion with the authentic Magisterium of the Church, above all, with that of the Roman Pontiff.
Teachers teaching disciplines concerning faith and morals must make their profession of faith;
Teachers must demonstrate ability to conduct research.
Teachers must show competency in teaching.
Teachers must demonstrate a commitment to the institute.
Dismissal
Teachers are dismissed on the ground of questionable conduct which runs contrary to the mission of the Institute.
Teachers are dismissed for incompetency based on the evaluation of the students.
Teachers are dismissed for lack of cooperation with the Institute.
Teachers may as well opt to resign from the post, in such a case due notice in written must be given to the Institute in good time (preferably three months in advance).
